HT701 Vonage Box™ (Single Line) Telephone Adapter

Updated: 6/17/2024 2:42 PM

BasicTalk Adapter

The HT701 Vonage Box (Singe Line) telephone adapter connects to your existing broadband internet connection to provide you with telephone service for a single phone number (line).

To optionally apply advanced configuration settings, see Vonage Box (Single Line) Advanced Options.  Setting advanced options is not required for the use of your Vonage Box.

NOTE:  As this telephone adapter has a single line, adding a dedicated fax is not applicable. Instead, to add a dedicated fax, you must use one of our two line adapters, such as the Vonage Box (VDV21/VDV23)Telephone Adapter.

Set Up Your Vonage Box

Before you set up your single phone line Vonage Box, check your package contents and make sure your home/office environment has the correct equipment.

When an LED is displaying a green light, it indicates the source is On and functioning properly.  If an indicator is not lit, pick up your telephone handset and listen to the message, if any.  See Voice Response Messages for details on how to resolve any message you may receive.
